KLIA airport or Kuala Lumpur International Airport is one the most modern airport in Malaysia and the world was opened in mid-1998. It is a premier international gateway travel to Malaysia. The fully-computerised, state-of the-art of the airport has replaced the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang (Subang Airport). The airport is a four-runway airport facility capable of handling an initial 25 million passengers annually with facilities for expansion to 45 million passengers annually.

An international class hotel is located within walking distance from the terminal building of KLIA Airport.
Car rental, bus and coach, taxis service, limousine and rail services into the city of Kuala Lumpur and neighbouring towns are available at KLIA.
The KLIA Airport terminal building has suitable rest, recreation, dining and duty-free shopping areas. Besides shops and restaurant; a recreational facility, the Hotel Airside Transit (Pan Pacific KLIA), offers a fitness centre with gym, steam and sauna.
KLIA is located about 50km from the Malaysia capital, city of Kuala Lumpur and linked via the ELITE Expressway which runs north to Kuala Lumpur. The journey takes about one hour.
From the KLIA Airport there is also a highway that runs east to the town of Nilai along the North-South Expressway. This expressway links the main towns on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
KLIA Airport has a parcel of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) where high technology industries being build up. It has all what is needed for business, entertainment and relaxation.
The Formula One Grand Prix car racing which scheduled in Mac every year in Sepang International Circuit is located near the airport. The circuit also offers motorcycle and rally racing.
The airport consists of the Main terminal Building and a Satellite Building linked by an aerotrain that shuttles every 3 to 5 minutes.

Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCC terminal):
The Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCC Terminal) is built at KL International Airport to cater to passengers of the Low Cost Airlines, especially the AirAsia passengers.
LCC is located 20km away from the KLIA Main Terminal Building (MTB). There is a direct, non-stop shuttle from KL Sentral to LCC Terminal and vise versa.

Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd operates both the KLIA Ekspres and the KLIA Transit lines, which connect the KLIA Airport to the city centre, terminating at the KL City Air Terminal (KL CAT) in KL Sentral.
KLIA Ekspres: KLIA Ekspres is the fastest way to travel to the city, as the journey only takes 28 minutes non-stop. The train is equipped with comfortable seats, digital entertainment, a wheelchair seat restraint, a wheelchair-friendly washroom, and luggage racks.
Normal Fares: One-Way journey: RM 35.00 for adult and RM 15.00 for child (2 - 12 years old). Return Journey: RM 70.00 for adult and RM30.00 for child (2 - 12 years old).
Service Schedules: First Train: 5:00 am Last Train: 12.30 am (from KL Sentral), 1:00am (from KLIA)
